On technology of delicious low-salted fish products using the smoking matter obtained on the basis of the smoke medium worked out by the IR smoke generator

The operation of the IR smoke generator of high productivity (2-nd generation) showed some technical problems, which were caused by the high intensity of heat and mass transfer into the layer of wood fuel. The construction of the IR smoke generator has been developed with the purpose to eliminate these defects. The mathematical model of pyrolysis has been developed, on its base the optimal values of operation main parameters have been determined. The draft of engineering data has been worked out.

Technical solutions for multi-component gas transportation from Shtockman Field by submarine pipeline

In the paper comparative design solutions of the project concerning the transportation of multi-component gas from the Stockman deposit developed by Russian domestic standards (General Standards for the design of Industrial Projects) and simulator program OLGA have been considered. Existing distinctions (more then 30 %) are demonstrated for the two project solutions for intermittent operating conditions of submarine pipeline for the first stage of field development.

The paper considers the mathematical model of wood pyrolysis in an infrared smoke generator and some approaches to mathematical modelling of smoke generating process. Merits and demerits of the model have been discussed; limits of its application have been given; possible ways of the model purposeful improvement have been contemplated.

Minimisation of the information distortions in the vessel safety management systems

The paper considers the problem of information distortions arising due to spontaneously formed horizontal connections in the vessel safety management systems. The conclusion has been made that by introducing "strong" penalties the possible distortions of information can be minimized.

Efficiency of procedures protecting vessel safety

Main types of threats of vessel safety have been considered: mistakes of ship experts, refusals of critical elements, failures of software of ship technical means. Some organizational means on minimization of consequences of these threats have been described. The assessment of reliability of vessel safety protection as probabilistic characteristics of a dangerous event has been proposed.

Technique of estimation of indeterminacy in plans of ship operations

The technique of evaluation of indeterminacy in developed plans for safe ship's key operations has been proposed. Regulations of informational processes theory as well as probabilistic methods and entropy approaches have been used for working out the technique. Some examples of its using have been given.
